St. John, US Virgin Islands

After spending one night on St. Thomas, we took the ferry to St. John and spent the rest of our spring break trip there.
We stayed in two different room types at The Westin St. John. The first three nights were spent in a King bed studio with a sofa bed and balcony with resort view. We spent the remainder of our stay in a two bedroom villa with a resort view balcony. Both rooms were clean, close to the pool and beach, and had small kichenettes with refridgerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and two burner convection stove top. While the two bedroom was very spacious, we would probably go with a one bedroom if staying here again as we didn’t need all the extra space.

There are a few dinning options at The Westin. We only had a few meals on property since we spent the majority of our time exploring the beaches in the National Park. The food we did have was good, though we wished the casual dining by the pool was open later than 4 PM.
In order to really see St. John, you must rent a car. Cars drive on the left side of the road on the island. A rental car enabled our family to explore more beaches and restaurants than simply those at our resort. Cinnamon Bay was our favorite for snorkeling, while I thought the food was the best at Trunk Bay and the best drinks were at Maho Bay.
