Boothbay Harbor, Maine

In early June, we spent two nights in quaint Boothbay Harbor on the coast of Maine. After wandering around town exploring the shops and sights, a great way to explore the area is taking a boat cruise. We chose to cruise with Cap’n Fish’s. The whale and puffin combo cruise took us around Eastern Egg Rock to see the puffins and other seabirds that call the rocky island home. The second portion of the trip was spent looking for whales. We were lucky enough to find two whales pretty quickly. The kids really enjoyed looking to see where the whales would come up next and using the binoculars to see them more closely.
